Gasavant is licensed by both the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) and the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) across three core scopes: gas haulage, gas EPCI (engineering, procurement, construction and installation) for storage facilities, and NGL bulk offtake from gas processing plants.
The company holds ISO certification for Quality Management (QMS), Environmental Management, and Occupational Health & Safety Management, and is also certified by the Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria (ISPON) underpinning its licence to operate across the full gas midstream value chain, from source to storage to end user.
Beyond its role as an operator, Gasavant serves as Research Lead for the Gas for Africa research paper, released in honour of NOG Energy Week 2026 the 25th anniversary edition of Nigeria's foremost energy conference and exhibition, convening in Abuja. This reflects Gasavant's dual position in the market: an active infrastructure builder and trader, and a contributor to the data and analysis shaping how the industry understands Nigeria's gas midstream opportunity.
Gasavant's gas-to-power business began in 2023 with a pilot deployment of 5kVA LPG generator sets. A 2024 technical partnership with an LPG and CNG OEM opened the door to a much wider range of unit sizes, spanning 20–4,000 kVA, and the site network has since scaled steadily reaching 18 sites across 11 Nigerian states and more than 5.4 MW of cumulative installed capacity as of mid-2026, with further growth already in motion.
Gasavant trades across natural gas liquids and gas products classified as C3 (propane), C4 (LPG/butane) and C5+ (condensate, reported as a single aggregated volume), alongside CNG. Trading began modestly in 2023 with C3 and C4 volumes; by the close of its second year of activity in 2024, combined volumes across the business had grown to approach 4,500 MT. Momentum has continued to build each year since, and year-to-date 2026 volumes across all active product lines are already running more than a fifth ahead of full-year 2025 with several months still remaining in the year.
Product movement is supported by a fleet of bobtails and bridgers owned and operated by One M Technology, Gasavant's gas logistics affiliate, carrying C3 and C4 volumes from source and storage points through to final end users. On the gas side, the CNG Gasavant distributes has gone toward Autogas retail demand and toward beneficiaries of the Presidential CNG Initiative (PCNGI) who have converted their commercial vehicles to run on gas placing the company within a national programme that is reshaping Nigeria's transport-fuel mix.
Gasavant accesses an established storage and throughput network spanning Lagos, Ogun, Rivers and Abia States, complementing propane and LPG storage carried at its gas-to-power sites nationwide. The company is now moving from throughput dependency to asset ownership, with its first wholly owned LPG terminal in Lagos nearing completion and a larger export-grade condensate terminal in the Lagos Free Trade Zone in the planning stage.
Gasavant continues to expand its footprint across Nigeria through the delivery of gas infrastructure, storage facilities and gas-to-power projects serving industrial, commercial and residential customers, including the ongoing rise in adoption of Electrical Vehicles (EVs) and Autogas Trucking for increased mobility and cost reduction of 40-60%. Gasavant is currently powering 3 EV Charging Stations that convert petrol tricycle “keke”s to run on rechargeable batteries in the South-West of Nigeria. Other upcoming projects include gas generation systems for telecoms sites, LPG retail storage facilities, and CNG Autogas and daughter storage stations for customers across Lagos, Abuja, Ogun State, Niger State and other strategic markets.
A key pillar of the company's growth strategy is the vertical integration of its gas infrastructure solutions, combining supply, logistics, storage and equipment deployment.
By leveraging its technical partnerships with generator OEMs and gas suppliers, Gasavant offers value to the market by providing reliable and cost-effective energy alternatives to industries currently dependent on conventional fuels that emit 20-30% more into the environment.

Gasavant Africa is established in Lagos. At founding, the company's focus is on LPG storage EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Installation) project engineering, with its first project being an LPG/LNG/CNG market consultancy study.
First Engineering Deliverables
Gasavant delivers FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) and DED (Detailed Engineering Design) scopes for its first three storage projects: a 40 MT facility in Lagos, a 300 MT facility in Osun State, and a 100 MT facility in Abia State.
Over the next five years, Gasavant is targeting a step-change in scale across every part of its business moving from a single-digit-megawatt gas-to-power supply base today toward a materially larger installed base and owned storage facilities, alongside continued multi-fold growth in traded NGL and gas volumes. The company views the current build-out as a foundation for a broader Sub-Saharan African footprint for gas commercialization in the years ahead.
As African economies increasingly adopt natural gas as a transition fuel, investments in gas infrastructure are becoming critical to supporting economic growth while reducing emissions. Gasavant contributes to this transition by providing infrastructure, equipment and supply solutions that facilitate the adoption of LNG, LPG and CNG across industrial, commercial and transportation sectors.
As of mid-2026, Gasavant's installed gas-to-power base was consuming an estimated 2,600 MT of propane demand annually and avoiding approximately 594 MT of CO2 per year compared with conventional fuel alternatives. The company will move closer toward net zero as it continues supporting hybrid solar-plus-gas generation models, which target further CO2 avoidance and monetization of carbon as it scales.
NGL Trading & Gas-to-Power Begin
Gasavant commences NGL trading, sourcing C3 (propane) from an upstream Niger Delta gas processing plant and beginning C4 (LPG/butane) retail delivery to factories in Lagos. The same year, the company enters gas-to-power with its first pilot deployment of 5kVA LPG generator sets.
Offtaker Registration, OEM Partnership & First Gensites
Gasavant is registered as an accredited offtaker of C3, C4 and C5+ NGLs from an upstream Niger Delta gas processing plant. The company also signs a technical partnership with an LPG and CNG OEM for 20–4,000 kVA gas generator sets, together with C3/C4 and CNG storage vessel fabricators enabling a complete three-in-one solution spanning generation, storage and fuel supply. Gasavant delivers the first of what would grow into 8 gas generator sites, serving customers across industrial, water bottling, agro-processing, telecoms, residential and commercial sectors. Combined NGL trading volumes across the company's first two years of activity approach 4,500 MT.
Accelerated Market Expansion
Gasavant scales its gas-to-power and NGL trading operations further, growing its C5+ condensate volumes and expanding its gas-to-power network to 8 fully commercial sites with cumulative installed capacity of approximately 4 MW.
Scaling Integrated Gas Infrastructure Solutions
Gasavant's gas-to-power network reaches 18 sites across 11 Nigerian states with 5.4 MW+ installed capacity. CNG is added as a fifth traded product line, supplying Autogas demand and Presidential CNG Initiative (PCNGI) conversion beneficiaries, moved alongside C3/C4 volumes by the One M Technology bobtail and bridger fleet. Year-to-date trading volumes are already more than a fifth ahead of full-year 2025. The company holds NUPRC and NMDPRA licensing for gas haulage, gas EPCI and NGL bulk offtake, adds ISO Occupational Health & Safety certification alongside its existing QMS and Environmental certifications, gains ISPON certification, clears NIPEX registration, advances construction on its first wholly owned storage terminal, and serves as Research Lead for the Gas for Africa paper, released in honour of NOG Energy Week's 25th anniversary in Abuja.
